Release Notes

  • Fixed (Limit the DownloadProgressChanged event firing speed)
  • Fixed an error where the client was listening for a response where non was to be expected, therefor not recovering.
  • Fixed (Literal attachment content was not properly parsed into the attachment object)
  • Fixed issue where headers where not parsed when accessed through any "Fetch" method of the ImapClient, had to be accessed manually.
  • Fixed IDLE implementation. Although IDLE is now working a solution to reuse the current idling connection should be introduced.

  • Implemented the "Rename" command, this one must have slipped ...
  • Any LINQ query accessing static messages will no longer trigger a search command prior to fetching, thus skipping a round trip, increasing response times.
  • The Send() and Receive() methods of the ImapClient class will no longer throw Exceptions on denied or bad request responses. All methods will return a response object that holds informations about the success of the operation.
  • The download progress update event is now recycling its EventArgs instance, thus limiting memory allocations from 13000/MB to 1/Client.
  • In addition the download progress firing rate can now be configured to avoid flooding.
  • Entities without content type are now being parsed as views according the RFC specs.
  • Removed obsolete classes and reduced overall code redundancy.
