Suspects latest chengesets have made the library broken

May 19, 2011 at 7:16 AM

I have asked for the Headers in MailMessage and after I have updated with the latest changesets, the application stops working. It successfully downloads certain messages and at a particular message it stops without throwwing any errors. The problem is in  Client.FetchMessageByUid method. I am unable to gather any other information. Can you check this?. How can i help further to pin point the error. The aplication was working fine with the latest release version.

I will take a look when im off work,

you could help me by identifiying the exception, since you probably use the library in a seperate thread any exceptions get eaten.

You can enable the following setting in Visual Studio, open the dialog from the menu item "Debug" -> "Exceptions" set the hook in the Thrown column in addition to the user unhandled column

in the Common Language Runtime row.

If you now start the project again it will break on any exception regardless whether handled or not.

I found a bug in the latest change set and fixed it, if its still causing trouble I would need to dig deeper.
