Can we use this library in Silverlight Applicaiton?

Hi armukesh,

unfortunately this component requires several assemblies which are missing from the SL runtime.
It won't work using Silverlight.

Do you know any other library which we can use for develop silverlight based email client application?

Hi armukesh,

unfortunately no, the problem is that Silverlight is a poor choice as a platform for an email client.

Even if you were able to recreate all necessary classes, you would still have to cope with SL's port restrictions.

SL does not allow you to use the ports necessary to connect to an IMAP/POP3 or SMTP server. The only way to circumvent these restrictions would be to start the SL app as an Out-Of-Browser

application with administrative permissions, which would essentially turn it into a "crippled" desktop app.

SL is just not meant to be used this way, I'm sorry.
